One Daily with Water and a Meal

I've started taking vitamins. Four different kinds. Two I chew and two I wish I could, given their size. I unfortunately look forward to this ritual every day. Each oblong piece is a reminder that I am winning at taking care of myself. I've been eating a lot of chia seeds and sweet potatoes and am almost convinced that I like the skin because any intelligent person would know that is the part that's best for you (I did not).
I am 23 and 3 months old and totally not having a crisis. I have a semblance of a plan, which is half the battle, and if I keep talking about it, it's bound to come true. In all honesty, I am tired of talking about it. Given that when things change, which they always do, I'll be forced to admit that things didn't work out. Another tally in the proverbial book that screams me: zero, universe: one million. Last week, after what felt like an eternity of waiting for other people to respond, I got bits and pieces of positive news. An itty bitty inch for which will propel me for the next several miles of my very exciting existence.
I think it should be illegal to ask what people do for work. When we meet someone new, the allowed questions should be as follows: What's your name? What kind of toothpaste do you use? Do you feel like your astrological sign accurately represents you as an individual? What is your favorite kind of popcorn? And lastly, do you use A.I.? This is what matters to me. Vocation is irrelevant. Am I recently employed? Yes. Is what I'm doing the wind beneath my wings? Absolutely Not.
I take my vitamins, and I think about my purpose. I take people to their tables, and I question all of my decisions. It's thrilling.
